Supervision for Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Mindfulness teachers.

Discover more about

At the heart of our supervision is the supervisory relationship. As a supervisor for counsellors, psychotherapists and mindfulness teachers, I believe it is important to offer a safe space where the supervisee feels welcomed and at ease to reflect on their work in general, specific aspects in greater detail and explore their personal process as necessary. In fostering a spirit of gentleness, inquiry and encouragement, I help supervisees identify learning needs, develop skills, maintain ethical awareness and practice and support them in their need for resourcing.

How much does Supervision cost?

  • My current fee for supervision is £60 per hour

I work out of rooms in Taunton, Somerset. However currently all sessions – counselling/psychotherapy, supervision and mindfulness courses are offered online only.

 Mondays  9 – 5 pm and Tuesdays 3 – 7 pm

“Supervision is a process in which the therapists or other practitioners talk about their work with another colleague, whose function it is to help them explore their relationships with their clients. At its best, supervision offers support, challenge and professional refreshment.”

15 years experience

I have been trained in person-centred, cognitive behavioural and mindfulness supervision. Adherence to the relevant Ethical Frameworks lies at the centre of my work. I have been supervising for over 15 years both in private practice and within the NHS. The supervisees I have worked with have been based in school settings, voluntary organisations, charities, the NHS and private practice.

Some of this work has included supporting supervisees to manage safeguarding issues, self harm and suicidal thoughts, loss and bereavement, trauma, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, gender issues, early childhood and developmental issues, employment difficulties and group dynamics.
